Gan Yavneh

MISSION STATEMENT
Gan Yavneh, Yavneh Academy’s satellite early childhood center, provides a child focused, nurturing and warm environment where children can embark on their educational journeys. We offer a safe space for children to grow and develop surrounded by Jewish values  that will guide them on their future academic and spiritual paths.
Our curriculum at Gan Yavneh is multi-sensory, and focuses on Social and Emotional Learning, a core building block of early childhood education. We blend robust early-learning goals with lessons from the Jewish calendar, middot and a love of Jewish culture and Torah.
At Gan Yavneh, we partner with our community and our families.  Above all, we support each child as an individual with unique talents, interests, and needs

CURRICULUM HIGHLIGHTS

Our curriculum blends early-learning goals with the Jewish calendar and themes.  At every level, children are learning core skills including math, pre-literacy competencies, Hebrew language, and STEM.  Every week, the children experience Shabbat parties, music class, soccer class, visits from Yavneh Academy administrators, and more.  Our curriculum is enhanced with dynamic learning opportunities, such as our annual Parshat Noach petting zoo, a visit from the matzah factory, and caterpillars that the children watch grow into beautiful butterflies.   With the support of the Yavneh Academy Social Emotional Learning (SEL) team, the children build their self-confidence, emotional regulation, and interpersonal skills.  Our experienced and loving morot are tremendous role models who represent exemplary middot and derech eretz. They help instill in our children a love of Jewish culture and Torah.
